I was recently involved in an automobile accident and called the Geico insurance company at 8008413000 to file a claim. I don’t believe Geico insurance phones its customers from this phone line, although people do call for insurance claims.

I received a call from 8008413000, and I believe that scammers are abusing this number. They may seek for personal information and credit card information, therefore we should be cautious anytime we receive such calls. I am not a customer of any insurance company, but they may request payment information, so don’t give them any.

I use 8008413000 for all of my insurance claims because it is not a spam phone number. I was recently contacted by Geico, and they called me from a different number, however they occasionally utilize 18008413000 to remind me about my insurance questions.

Received an email supposedly from Geico saying that my VIN number is not correct. I called this number 800-841-3000 and spoke to someone who asked me what the letter said. While I was reading it, he disconnected. I am guessing this is a scam and they are using Geico’s number. He asked for my full name, date of birth and the VIN number. Now I’m worried.
