Today’s call was from an unknown debt collection agency, as they failed to identify themselves as coming from Jefferson Capital, and it was an automated recording. The only debt I have is to my credit card company. I called my bank because I thought it might be them and they informed me that if a customer defaults on their account, cases are transferred to debt collectors. I don’t know where my debt is, and I’m confused. I’ll talk to Jefferon to see if they can offer any assistance.
